I don’t really have an autopilot though I walked my high school graduation on autopilot when on stage but off stage I was bored and completely aware. We practiced that stage walk for two weeks and it was on stage autopilot, off stage normal. I honestly was bored because I sat through six speeches and none of them were decent. All I heard was blah blah and do your best at college over and over. Although there was nice surprise at the beginning as the principal gave diplomas to the disabled students first especially the autistic class.

I worked briefly in non union film production (mostly indie, low budget and ads) and the most appalling thing that still persists in that industry is just how little people sleep between production days. Im mostly referring to the crew like PAs, grips and electricians. There’s something called a “double dip” which means a day player will work two production day shift back to back. That’s usually a 12-18 hour day. Sometimes more. PAs, G and E’s are on set from first call time to wrap. Ass busters. Not going to sit here and say drugs weren’t involved.

Hawaii here. Most people think the dark skinned people they see are Hawaiian. Not so. There are very few true blooded hawaiians left after disease in the early days, the rest intermarried into other cultural groups like chinese or portuguese. Plus alot of the people you see that you'd think are hawaiian tend to be hispanic or islanders from other places like fiji, micronesia, samoa, or tonga.

Yeah, I feel like the ship has sailed on that front. I'm stuck in an apartment, not sure if or when I'll ever get out, uncomfortable with even the idea of a pet until I can buy a house & get situated there & work on how I could expand my financial interests & I'm about to turn 32. It took me 3 yrs just to get above $5000, at the rate I'm going. A decade ago, I'd be all set already after I got my credit in order. Now, I'll need at least 4-5× that. No romantic interests. Not sure how I could handle the time taking care of a toddler without backup, unless I was able to have enough to where I could just not work for several years & make it & the one thing I know for sure is that would never be possible no matter what if I had a mortgage to deal with. So, yeah, I think I'm just done on that front. Whatever happens, happens.

This happened when I was around ten. We owned this tall cylinder fan that I brought down as it was a hot day. We owned Apple TV, so their remotes were skinny. So my stupid brain wondered what would happen if I stuck it in there WHILE THE FAN WAS ON! A few of the blades got broken but it still worked. I really have no clue where my head was that day.

I'm absolutely oblivious to these things. I've had phone numbers written on things and handed to me from women while they were at work under the guise of "if you need anything, here's my number", to people asking me what I was doing after I got off work, to people straight up undressing me with their eyes. I've had issues with trust from the opposite sex throughout my life so I typically take those things as them either being really nice or honestly flirty with no intentions of actually following up.

I am from Ireland but go to the US a lot with a travel company i work for. I find the ones who travel are very different to the ones you see going about their daily business. I find the average person walking around or in a shop to be genuinely lovely. The ones who travel can be very demanding and expect US standards outside the US.

Back in 2009-2010 I went to Australia to visit friends and spent 5 weeks there, and I did go out on a drive to the outback with one of them - with multiple maps, a large cooler with plenty to drink for both of us, and a full-sized spare with all the equipment required for a tyre change. Since he was a local and told me all of that was necessary, and it did also turn out necessary since we *did have* an unrepairable tyre blowout on an unpaved highway (hole in the sidewall) so we had to change the tyre under the scorching sun. After which we immediately had a new tyre put on the rim at the next town which was 45 minutes away.

I taught a preschool class a couple years ago and one day, the kids found a baby gecko in our classroom. After i caught him and had him safe in a container with breathing holes, I let the class of 4 year olds come up with and vote on names. The gecko's name ended up being Soup. I don't know where that name came from, but i love it! In the end, I took Soup home and set him free in my rose bushes in the early evening. I figured he'd have a better chance of finding food that isn't poisoned at my house since I don't spray for bugs. Every now and again, the kids would ask how Soup was doing.

i live in Cobourg Ontario Canada, 21,000 people usually, come the long weekends its around 40,-60, Canada long weekend its 90,000 people, mostly l from Toronto or the USA, all to the beach, and no parking , its horrible , take over the down town and side roads, a lot can't be bothered to learn English or understand it, or care about no parking means as such. no stopping in the road to unload when there are 15 other cars trying to drive.

I know all the real British actors are all part of the privately educated elite, but that's about 2% of the population. The other one is when Americans try to do any of the British accents. I used to livein Heidelberg - there was LOTS of japanes tourists there walking around with cameras and taking photos of everything they see. And I mean EVERYTHING. House, Cars, Parks, Gardens and people - and not only the old medieval sightseeing spots, but at all kinds of random spots. I honestly don't understand why they were actually doing that crap? How does a photo my some children playing in the yard or a front garden with just a hedge and some grass be worth taking for somebody literally living on the other side of the earth? Why do you need a foto of random salespeople in random stores in a foreign county and why do people from a country that is know for its people being polite and disciplines not get the idea that other people don't that you are taking random photos of them while they are living their normal live?
